Dipset member has $2million bail for murder charge
The dipset member Charly ‘Max B’ Wingate was given no less than $2million bail in his murder case where he is charged with killing David Taylor during a botched robbery in New Jersey last September.
Max B allegedly phone his friend, Kelvin Leerdam, asking him for help in robbing David Taylor and Allan Plowden after his girlfriend – an exotic dancer – informed him that the two men were carrying large quantities of money on them.
Max B’s girlfriend knocked on Plowden’s room at the Holiday Inn in Fort Lee at approximately 4am while Leerdam remained armed and out of sight.
When Plowden opened the door, Leerdam promptly burst in and ordered him to call for Taylor. Plowden did so and watched as Taylor was shot in the head and murdered when he entered the room.
The two tied up Plowden, took an unknown amount of cash and fled. However police said they missed up to $30,000 which they later found on Plowden.
An attorney for Max B claims that he was not even in New Jersey at the time of the incident, yet police state that phone calls made before and after the murder strongly implicate Max B.
Conway and Leerdam also face charges of conspiracy, robbery and murder.
Max B has featured on multiple songs with Cam’ron, Jim Jones and Juelz Santana, including a mixtape from last October titled The Diplomats & Max B Million Dollar Baby Radio.
